ABOUT THE SITE MANAGER

Matthew Stanton switched from a career as an award-winning newspaper reporter and editor to become an advocate of Web journalism and online products in 1997. After developing new Web products for Gannett Corp., Stanton worked as Journal Interactive's director of audiences and presentation for the Journal Sentinel's Web site, OnWisconsin.com network, and several Journal Communications radio and television broadcast properties. In 2005, he joined CBS Television Stations digital media team to coordinate editorial content for 16 CBS O&O stations, reaching a total of more than a third of all American TV homes and including the top seven U.S. markets.

Stanton's national recognitions includes multiple NAA Digital Edge awards and an EPpy. He also has worked as an adjunct faculty member in the University of Wisconsin system and lectured in other universities' new media programs.

Stanton currently lives in New York City.
